Brings back lots of great memories from the Olympus days and after. I've had 3 of these including Nick Moores winning GpN car and the infamous McGyver car.

Seems like I remember someone putting the drive train of an AWD Celica in a FX16 years ago. It was a rally car, possibly from Cali.

Before my time. The only ones I can remember have been FWD.

An RRN search indicates that it could be either the Watanabes or Scott Childs.

Its pretty damn quick. Revs well past 8k, 4.55 final we think with 6 speeds, they are pretty stacked so never a bad spot. Should be around 175 hp and tqs to match. Pretty solid old car. Toyota had problems selling them because the price was right with the Celicas back then.

If it was RWD it would really be a riot.

What kind of LSD is it?
Owsley?

Is there a support bearing for the long side driveshaft? ya noze what I mean--some cars do a bearing so the actual driveshaft lengths are kinda equal?
When youse guys gonna have the cage finished?
Is it struts in back, too? what do the rear towers look like?

Calm down JV winking smiley

No cage nor plans of...
Prolly stockish Toyota JDM LSD
Struts in back, probably the normal 2 or 3 bolt uppers, can't remember. Does have new KYBs and looks to be stock height so no one has violated it...yet...

Brent sold his Titan pickup and bought this for a daily driver. Now he can get his house painted and garage roofed. Still has the CRX race car, heading to Idaho in 2 weeks for a hill climb.
