Fall Colors - Aerial Video

I just finished editing a new video that my dad (Tom), brother (Mark) and I (John) shot back in late October. In addition to rallying, my brother and I also have another money pit hobby... flying our home-built airplane.

This was one of the perfect days to go flying. My only regret with the video is that the video quality doesn't do the fall colors justice. Those little cameras need better sensors.

Nice, that little airplane looks like it would be fun to fly... If I knew how to fly.

That's an awesome video, I like the fade from black/white to color (you only did it once in the middle of the video but it was really coo). Also like the lighting at the end of the day. Must have taken forever to edit.

Bigger questions how long does it take to build your own airplane and how noisy are the props? Can you fly in the winter?
Something over Grafton/Alton when the Eagles return would be really neat (if it's allowed)?

Took a year and a half to build, but I was doing work on it almost every evening & weekend along with my brother. Some people take 4 to 10 years! Just depends how much time you want to dedicate to it.

Props are not that noisy. A good headset is all it takes.

Yeah I can fly in the winter, but I do not have heat in the plane.
