Pics from Placerville, Idaho
December 24, 2012 08:20PM
took a day trip up to Placerville, north of Boise, for some pics. Good times, lots of wagon drifting, photo taking, and got a tour of the museum randomly from a fellow on the town board. also, the mayor plows the roads!

This is the town we race out of and service in for the Idaho Rally, FYI.

Neat pics! Did you have truble with the Audi or did you notice one wheel spinning?

...Audi made cars with locking diffs past 1991 or so?

Probably a leaky vacuum hose or a leaky solenoid. There is NO "breakaway", it basically is a shift collar that connects the left side axle to the diff case.

Hmm... I recall that the CQ/90s with locking diffs would automatically disengage the diff over 25mph. There's an easy fix for that, if this is the case.

we got stuck went i cut a corner i little bit too much. the locking rear diff, seemed to act no different than an open rear. At least the button for the diff was "on"

OK, I don't mind grovelling in nice cold snow. Its when its 25-40o
that I hate it cause you're wet..

A HUD home is Housing and Urban Development,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Department_of_Housing_and_Urban_Development

It is no doubt a re-posesed home...
Damn. 23k
That would be more than 10 times as much here in the Sleezattle area.

Shit.

Great pics! thanks for the change of scenery. I like the red house, we should all pitch in and buy it; Rally Anarchy club house... perfect place to retreat to when the little lady kicks me out.
