Yep, best times will come from oodles of practice and never lifting. When you start to break the physics of the game, you'll be about as fast as you can go.

The SpecialStage RBR championship was difficult to do. I did a couple of them but then kind of fizzled out. My work schedule typically gets in the way of me being able to handle things when I need to sad smiley

sweet! all those little cars are a lot of fun. I tend to drive the focus st170 when I haven't been out in the real car and need to practise focusing cause it feels like my car.

Anybody have some setup tips for me with Richard Burns? How do I get rally cars to under steer less on asphalt?? Is rebound supposed to be stiffer than bump, or vice versa?

You mean how do you do something so the pretend toy thing supposedly reacts differently?

Why don't you surf Internet porn sites?
The outcome is better at the end of the wanking.

I'd be curious about how much time you've spent actually using Richard Burns Rally.
Of the rally computer games, it is the one that stood out as having the most realistic physics model, to the point that the 'mass' consumer found it too difficult to 'play.' The more hard core community has embraced it and has created add ons that have kept the game growing and expanding for over a decade from when it was orphaned by the original developers.

The reality is there is some good 'training' and 'testing' that can be done with the game, the cars do react to set-up changes, although in no way does it replicate or replace real-world experience.
So, wanna find out what happens to a car when you go 'full soft' on the back but full hard on the front? This is a great tool. Suspension has the full range of adjustability and just like the real world most people will end up chasing their set-up and ending up with a slower car.

So no, you won't feel it in the seat of your pants, you won't be able to test a real-world set-up, and yes, it is more wanking than not. BUT, it's far far far from an arcade game and has been useful to many people I know for learning everything from listening to pace notes to trying blunt set-up changes.
