No live answer today still. I called a couple weeks ago when this first hit SS. Very odd.

In other news, hit the bank today. Hate to go the official route, But I waited 25 days, and its not much longer till the event...

So, I still need a helmet and HANS. What's the hot place to buy a helmet and rent a head n' neck?

That is strange. Charles has always taken very good care of me. I've ordered all kinds of things from him. I even called and ordered something I knew OMP made but wasn't on his website. I ordered a fire extinguisher one morning and had it show up the following afternoon. I always call in my orders though so maybe that helps?

Someone posted on SS that they couldn't get a response from Charles, I called him at that point and never generated a response either.

Ruh roh. Hope the guy is ok.

Any updates on Charles and Safedrives?

I've last attempted to call them sometime Wednesday. I have left enough email and voicemails where at this point I'm sure I'll get some response if he decides to check.

I have gone to my bank last weekend to get my money back. Last Monday I bought the helmet I need from SafeRacer. It arrived, I think, Wednesday or Thursday
I'm actually about to modify it for HANS and intercom... I went cheap, got that G-force open face helmet.

I still haven't got my money back, But it does not seem like they will fight it.

Here's hoping.

Oh, Charles will fight it.

I've done one or two transactions with Charles before, and they went well. But if I went a couple weeks with no contact, I'd be all over Visa/MC/Amex/Disco to gimme my money back.

I sincerely hope there's just some huge extenuating circumstance behind this transaction going bad.

He hasn't returned any of my personal calls and we are on pretty friendly terms in that sense. I'd guess the business is looking like a thing of the past from the evidence.
