Do you support attacking Syria?

"They are embarrassed to be associated with the amateurism of the Obama administration’s attempts to craft a plan that makes strategic sense. None of the White House staff has any experience in war or understands it. So far, at least, this path to war violates every principle of war, including the element of surprise, achieving mass and having a clearly defined and obtainable objective."

I support stopping people from using chems on civillians. But in this case there doesn't seem to be a clearly expressed military objective, and Obama hasn't been a leader. He has done anything but lead, and instead of stepping up and taking responsibility, he has tried to pawn that off in every way possible.
We could/should have stayed quiet while gathering evidence, and then delivered a crushing blow. Instead the President has played politics while the world watches. To him it's all a show, and he's out of his league quite clearly.

Also, I need to hear more about the 'rebels'. It seems like a lot of people think that they are mainly AQ type terrorists that want our help but hate us.

The last thing we need is another ground war, but how do we deliver an effective strike at this stage without toppling Assad. he deserves to be toppled right? Into a massive power vaccuum to be filled by chaos and the perfect opportunity for Islamic militant terrorists to rise.

Not good options!

If'n I was a crafty rebel type, I would gas a neighborhood and let Oblamo bomb the shit out of my opponent, the Syrian gubmint. Yeppers. Then I would ask for a bunch more aid and procede to badmouth the US after I received it.

There is no one to thank except the old Republican Party, they are the ones who elected Obama.

Combining several ideas from the above, all of which I happen to agree with, we're all idiots because, odds are, every one of us either voted for Bush II at some point, when Bush II et al. continued to be buddies with Saddam Hussein even after we know that he gassed the Kurds, or voted for Obama at some point, who is being shown to be a naive lightweight (by Putin, especially) when it comes to world affairs.

Heh, that's funny. Your insinuation that someone that hates Obama's policies loved Bush 43's.

Although he did have more balls than Clinton, more compassion for the "Little Guy" than his Father, and better oratorical skills than Obama-off-prompter, he was/is still an Idiot so far as the Presidency goes.
