That's a huge move. I've done the same before, my move to Seattle was the biggest change I've made in my life. It is very scary. Regardless of how often you travel or how comfortable you are with other cultures losing your sense of "home" even if temporarily can really mess you up.
Allow yourself time to adjust and don't worry if you freak out, it's normal
