Many events list different entry fees: One with event/series advertising and one without. It is an interesting idea... if you did that in our Western Canadian Regional events - and counted what it would cost to do the event without volunteers - you'd end up with entry fees about double what they are now. Nationals would be closer to 2,000 higher per car. Maybe Transparency will save rally? Don't get me wrong. I'm not suggesting the sport won't continue to rely on volunteers to make it happen, I'm only wondering what the reaction would be to showing what it would cost to run the sport without volunteers or event/series sponsors.
