Might need some syntax checking...

while(true) {
  rally::history();
}

class rally {

  public static function history() {
    if($history) {
         print self::repeat();
      }
    else { # No history provided. Must be current!
       # but now, what's current is now past... and history.
       $history=true;
       self::history();
    }
  }

   public static function repeat() {
      return "doomed";
   }
}

Higgins, Block and pastrana would be a fun season to watch though. Not that it isn't normally....

Either pastrana got fat or that sites editor sucks. He's probably grumpy because he's not a real rally driver. Then again, those events seem to have more girls with less clothes so who the f#ck knows....

Comprehension is low right now apparently...
That would likely be Bryce Menzies or whatever his name is. Named in the article as Pastrana's teammate with Dodge. Don't know much about him other than he's a short course/desert guy... Quick google search,
Quote

Bryce Menzies spent many years riding dirtbikes in the desert traveling to Mexico with family in friends. The beginning of 2010 marked the start to the Menzies Motorsports Desert Program. The Menzies/Geiser built # 70 Trophy Truck along with Bryce and Co-Driver Pete Mortensen took on what was probably one of the toughest races of the year, the infamous SNORE Mint 400.

2011 was a successful season with the first win of the year at the Annual SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge, 6th place finish in the SCORE San Felipe 250, 1st Place in the Baja 500 and 3rd in their first ever Baja 1000. The Menzies Team earned the 2011 SCORE Trophy Truck/Overall Championship.

Basically sounds like Dad is a successful businessman, they're from NV, they ride alot of dirt bikes, in 2007 they decided to start doing buggy short course off road stuff, then desert racing, then got recruited for rallycross, obviously based on their success with short course stuff.

Too bad he's not coming rallying also.

And I was under the impression he was a short, coarse, dessert guy.

Next big thing to save rally! Live tech inspection! Being able to see if your car is through tech while going through registration at a NRS event is revolutionary! Of course, it only takes two minutes to get through registration I've heard. So all of this means... More time at the bar with the umbrella girls!!!

Fake roads!!!

That is why I am glad to get a motorsport park to carve out roads the way we want it...sweeps/turns hills, etc.

Side note: Our local test facility CORE has this same problem with rain. Cutting roads without building roads results in poor water management and long term problems. The more often you have to do anything to deal with it, the straighter and wider the road becomes and the worse the big problem areas become. This year some guys went out after a big rain storm in March and drove around a bunch on the course resulting in it being virtually useless for the rest of the year due to huge hard ruts and such. Many corners have largely disappeared.
I've since come to conclusion that the best test facility should NOT be graded if you don't have the budget to build the road base properly. Just stake it out with cones or flags, make sure there's no stumps, boulders, or massive holes and go for it. Change it annually or more frequently.
