The suggested "solutions" which are "THE NEXT BIG THING" that is going to "SAVE RALLY" in America are all just as well thought out, and have just as realsitically viable chance of "Saving rally" as doing the same old bullshit as we have been doing since 1984 or even earlier....

Which is essentially : We'll get some washed up _____________guys and/or some really rich old guys to spend a lot on some flash cars then we'll buy TV time and tell everybody that these washed up _ ____guys and these rich guys are TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE ---we've finally arrived at the same level as the rest of the world aren't we all AMAZING!!!!!"
and then sponsors will fight over outbidding each other to shower all of us with TREASURES!


Ignoring the fact that people can simply LOOK at series like Sweden's Group H and Finlands F-cup and see guys driving better and faster than anybody here..


JUST TODAY I heard from my steel salesman---whose brother has a 09 Subie semi-prepped car---who asked me "Hey are you the JVAB that makes rally stuff?-----when I asked; "you know me so you must be a bit into the sport---where's your car?"

"I can't afford a car like my brothers (turbo AWD)"

Whatever "we" ,...not fuck that, whatever "THEY" have been doing has only made that perception more and more intrenched...

I take it as more of a. You tell what you think will save rally and every body pics it apart and proves or disproves if it will actualy help save rally. It also goes way off topic but some how loops back to saving rally or ruining rally. What you got?

Well adding to that I just wrote is an old philosophical problem.
In a insane situation or in a dialog with an insane person, a rational answer is irrational...

And there ARE people that while all clean cut and shiny and Poe-light, are insane.
Or so afraid of thinking---by habit---that they are just as good as insane..

Well, it IS in the "Rumors" sub forum, so everything in here should be taken with a grain of salt.

Salt shortage in the US will lead to less "taking things with a grain of salt, more trust", which will save rally!!!!

Pretty much anything that happens anywhere will show up here and be trumpeted as a way to save rally.

Air horns will increase trumpeting of news and this will save rally!!!

Both serious good ideas and ideas/changes that just happened and are absolutely stupid will be heralded as the next thing to save rally.

More royal blood will increase heralding and save rally!!!

So is it "serious"? Well, you HAVE noticed it's on the internet, right?

The internet will save rally!
