Reeces is going to save rally, pick up the pieces, put them in a cup.

I like centralized service as it means time for sit down meals and beer at lunch. And even then I had time to make four loops looking for people to deliver sold stuff to, talk with Sean, and give away some DVDs before either of the two cars we were servicing arrived.

1st clue, its on rally anarchy
2nd clue, its in: Rumours, Lies & Damn Lies

Damn I bet you didn't finger that out by your self...Which one of dem cutinas in your service crew told you?

By the way I think it is great you support your service crew so much you have a piccie of them there. None of us could do what we do without the hard, grueling, sweaty action of hard working service crews like them...and those hats just add such a stylish touch...

Service crews like them are going to save the WORLD..

Holy shit. I'm beginning to feel all warm and fuzzy about JVL. Did you eat him, or is this some alternate universe?

Blame is for idiots. losers.
Yup, couldn't agree more.

The push was from those who wanted to change the sport into something "TV friendly".. In this case from an insider, Dave Richards , a megalomaniac with no limits to his ego who had seen the hundreds of millions made by the reptilian Ecclestone who managed to get F1 media rights..and he set out to do the same: make millions. The sport be damned.

How is that anything but pointing fingers and laying blame.
Where is the critical thinking in that?

(And where is the bit about the FIA ignoring, at best, or killing off anything but Formula 1 at the time, pushing people in rally to keep the sport alive and properly promoted)

Once again you're showing your ignorance about me, what I do, and how I approach things.

Hint: analysis of most things is to avoid making the same error or series of errors that may cumulatively lead one away from the desired end.
And you give me shit for stating the obvious... sigh. This is such a fundamental skill I'd liken it to breathing. Seriously, you're not breaking any new or unique ground with this 'insight.'

If I were ever to find myself in a position of promoting a world championship series - or even a WRC event - then yes, I'd have a look at what ISC did, what NOS did, and what RB/SMG are doing to see what worked and what didn't.

Can I look at that and translate it back to what I do with the Canadian Championship or to regional events? For the most part no, but there should always be something that can translate back to any level of the sport - if you look at things the right way.

I'm not saying the motivation of others is irrelevant, but it sure isn't something I'd spend a lot of time on. Yes, from time to time you have to ask yourself 'why would someone do this?,' but rarely does the 'why' change if something worked or not. (The assumption being that the end goal is the same - making the sport better for everyone involved.)

i just wanna go rally somewhere routinely. Like if i live near CORE id be there often. Or some set of privately owned roads for paid (affordable) practice.

thus I hypothesize that;

1. we need less people in the world, so there are more unused roads. meaning soylent green will save rally.
2. feeding the hungry is good "PR" with the public. So we need spokespeople.
3. a lobby to promote our agenda in the gov. meaning we need money.
4. a way to make money. meaning we need to get a printing press or Somali pirates.

so Somalian pirates will save rally.
