without miles to calculate an average all it says is time. YOU Gene are being a total asshole again and again attempting to get others to believe your bullshit that "YOU DOMINATED" and I "never did anything.. "
You have the miles for each of the stages? And it is YOU, Gene who is constantly say "THE CARS ARE WAAAAAAAY FASTER NOW" (Yeah many CARS are faster----but MANY are not DRIVEN faster....) And what does that have to do with the "This will save rally"...a totally sarcastic thread about the many laughabl;e situations---if they don't drive you to utter bafflement... The rest is just noise Gene, poor driving, and poor decisions deserve getting QUESTIONED.. What the fuck do people think they are doing? I don't know. But not even trying isn't helping anything. Cooking up stupid classes so THREE PEOPLE in the WHOLE COUNTRY Gene--3 can pretend their last and next to last is a victory HELPS NOBODY.. If fact the Noobs I talk with---which I think wer have conceded is about 100 tiome more than YOU talk with----THEY ask "What the fuck? What is the B spec with one guy doing more than one event and then last and near last...That's a new car....am i gonna get my ass kicked" Stick to the subject ol boy.. How's driving so slow going to save rally. PS I may have the route book from Nor'wester,,my second Stage rally.. I'll look.. But I'm painting window trims and taking care of my girls---much more important that arguing about shit 28 years ago Gene. You stop being an asshole..Same with your shadow Morison... Predictable....figure about 120 miles average for the National, Buffum averaged about 60mph. I averaged about 50mph. Move that to the regional events looks like I beat you by about 6 minutes?? I was driving the old 510 and was far from being the fast guy then...you were even further. So guessing about 80 stage miles as it was a shorter event then you look to have been around that 40mph mark. Point is everyone starts somewhere, speed is irrelevent to an individuals fun. Andrew (both of them) acomplished more at that LSPR event than you have in recent years, or ever. Bspec doesn't affect you in any way, shape or form...nor does it affect this forum. So why ?? Mad because he didn't buy stuff from you? Mad over his lack of blinding speed? Are you mad at Al Kun also? If you're a man of true conviction you will refuse to sell products to Bspec drivers or Rally America entrants?
You somehow see yourself as the Pied Piper of rally, your really more of a pecker than piper...people not buying into your cheap and easy philosiphy are seen as a problem? A rejection of you personally? What? |

DENIGRATION OF ROOKIES WILL SAVE RALLY!
Let's stop with the cliche sayings like, "To finish first you must first finish" and instead start saying things like, "To finish first you must first leave the chicken feet in wisconsin and stop driving like a turd you self promoting pile of steaming fish guts." New rookie meeting slogan: "If at first you fail, time to quit and find something better to do." Or "Press On Never. Go autocross instead you sissy." Grant Hughes |

What's to defend? He was out there having fun... isn't that why we do this? (It ain't for the trophys or prize money as far as I know) Hell, you're one of the first to say this is all about smiles per mile, and that the ass out flamboyant RWD style is funer-er... even if it is grotesquely slower than a nice, clean line. If trundling through the woods in a BSpec car is what does it for this guy, who are any of us to say he's wasting his time? Since you are the fount of all knowledge, explain how it is better to be out not even trying than anything else? Don't marginalize the importance of this. I'd never advocate events soliciting entries from unqualified or unprepared people, but if someone is interested enough to bring a stage-ready car and enter the event... that actually is what will save rally. Not sure why you continually feel the need to insult others when you're trying to make a point. Chances are that if you can't make your points without denigrating someone, your point isn't worth making, or listening to. This is a perfect case of that... I think its hilarious that you say this. I'm not even close to being an advocate of 'participation awards.' The sport is all about comparison, growth, betterment, and closing the gap to the teams that are better at it than you. Hell, I've won events that we did poorly at, and while some people would celebrate the victory, we focused on what we did wrong and what we could do better. Who says you have to understand it? I've seen lots of people do things (in this sport and elsewhere) that I don't understand what they get out of. But... who am I to judge. If they are enjoying it enough to keep on doing it... what's the harm. While you're busy telling us all how you DOMINATED and once again lying thru your dentures that I never did anything EVER, I found the Route book for Nor'Wester 86, my second stage rally.. Average MPH on the stages for Buffum---who was at the best he would ever be then---Doug Sheppard in a nice Dodge turbo Omni, you Gene, and mine just for fun SS1 .............Buffum 59.9mph----Sheppard...54.2,..... McC..47 mph, ......and woe is me...45.34 SS2 .............Buff.......62mph......Shepp....54.3....McC....48 mph....poor me...46.5 SS3 Spider Lake Long Buff.....50mph.... Shepp...40.3....McC...41mph.....and awww 39.2 NOTHING EVER SS4 ........... Buff 52.2mph.................Shepp 50.6....McC 44.......dominating me at 42mph SS5........... Buff 69.2mph..................Shepp 62.7..... McC 54.........and nothing at 51.3 SS6 (SS2 II) Buff ..65mph..................Shepp 58.........McC 49.9......and a miserable 47.1 SS7.............Buff 59.3mph.................Shepp......54......McC 47.7.....poor me .......44.9 SS8.............Buff 56.5mph.................Shepp .....50.7.....McC 44.8..........and (sigh) 42.3 There were 2 more stages that we all ran but we weren't scored us miserable never did anything Divisional guys, only you big manly man National PROs so I can't say how badly you dominated me.. See what happens when you are "just guessing".. Just guess ain't that much different than just talking shit---and that's what you are doing too often-- But one thing is clear: Your estimate of YOUR speed was grossly inflated. Your conceit that you were miles and hours ahead---which seems really important that you keep repeating "Never did anything" which we've shown is a lie---so you ought to stop lying Gene, it looks bad for you.. Buffum was in his best ever form...full works spec Quattro and just coming off some good WRC and EM results...He exceeded 60 average on 3 of 8...... You exceeded 50 on ONE Stage and almost made it on another....What a man!!! Why this compulsion to lie about MY old results time and again Gene? I can waste more time proving that in this area, this fixation that you are again and again a liar. And I may be OK with well argued differences of opinion but I have little tolerance or patience with people who make up lies to discredit people and intend it to be believed... Come on try and answer honestly---you been to Michigan? Been on those roads? You think they're like Spider Lake? You did OK back then, you were a target because you were within reach---Buffum wasn't not an average of 13-15 mph faster... But you were.. I did better later...after a divorce and some settling down and a lotta just not giving a shit...it got better..and you dropped out. Quit lying about this old shit nobody cares but if you lie, I will prove you lie. It looks like I was pretty close on the guess after all. What were the mileages John? Regional results show you being back 6 minutes after 8 stages..nothing to argue about. No lying either. As I astutely pointed out earlier you would see it as an attack rather than accepting people can start out slow. No one has to meet your expectations other than you.
So what should we do with new folks? Ban them after the first stage if they don't exceed 40mph? Hold them up for public shaming? Do we give a waiver for someone who graduated the Trusted Buddy Driving School or runs frogs ass green suspenders? Is it only your devotees who get to start out slow? Just not sure of what your public, online displeasure of SpecB or Brakim or any number of other items is supposed to lead to? How does continual denigration and fault finding make things better? OBTW why do we repeatedly hear of your irrelevant ancient moto x history as if it somehow makes you an instant authority on other motorsports? You continually say not to bring up old history (especially when it shows you being other than an overwhelming talented driver) yet you continually do it. You always tell folks how good your car was, how much you raced bikes over there, how you beat every PGT car and so on. So STFU and lets worry about rally today. I think Alex has more rally experience than you do these days. Maybe we should start a "Go Fund Me' and get you a one way ticket to Europe where you can worship old Volvos and sit around the sauna proclaiming the stupidity of Americans. That would be a win-win situation..something you're not used to... ![]() |

I think John's upset that he's as slow as a turd rolling downhill *lolololololol*
Only time I've ever had an average speed on stage that slow is when I've crashed, which has been often *budum tsh* Seriously, 42mph is what, 67km/h? I don't think my average speed at BigWhite on any stage was remotely close to that in my turbo awd subarat that is bl....ack ![]() ![]() But its totally my mad driving skillz and not the car... I feel like Ken Block would be proud! (and I'm spent, trollolololololololol) |

I dunno, Gene--you tell us. You, Morison and that faggot cocksucker Vokes seem to spend a majority of your time and effort here at attacking me with endless stupid questions.. Isn't there all sorts of places and sites and such that are devoted to 100% cheerleading, and hyping up everything.....certainly you and Morison and the cum-guzzling whore Vokes would be happier there. You still haven't explained how EVERYBODY is sooooooooooooooooooooo much faster in light of these similar times--considering the vehicles, the tires, the suspension...doesn't seeeeeeem waaaaaaaaaaaay faster for EVERYBODY.. I'm not sure how anyone is arguing over average speed, when it seems as if the majority of LSPR was swamp racing. Most people don't have proper tires... etc.
That said, the bottom half of the national field is annoying showing their trophies acting like they really won something when overall they are in the bottom 5. Really this goes for anyone winning there class with no one in it, while being at the very bottom of the field. I dont mind anyone that is slow, I started really slow; I just think people need some humility and not pumping their own tires. I can't imagine getting last overall and saying how I was 1st or 2nd in my class like it's some sort of accomplishment. Just treat it as is.... a fun weekend; not like you're some amazing race team. |
