I was looking at the results of a study of infographics yesterday.
The big number they were showing and testing was disparities in colon cancer.
Rate in white people is 85 per 100,000
Rate in black people is 115 per 100,000
Only 2/3 of those surveyed were able to correctly identify the direction of the disparity.
The infographic chosen as best to convey this information was based on the ability to distinguish difference, perceived incidence in population, and perceived magnitude of difference.

The fucked up thing, it's not a statistically significant difference...

So what rally needs is more infographics, better smoked meat, and more umbrella girls.

Damn it, what made me think of that was:
a) 1/3 of general population can't tell that 115 > 85.
b) Do people still watch cable TV? I know weekly I see someone else talking about dumping it.
c) Saturday at 2 pm. Wonder what kinda demo that reaches. I'm home at 2 pm if the baby is napping.

More interest from ignorant, overweight, poor people is certainly not going to save rally.

I was guessing demo of tv at 2 on a Saturday.
I'm infiltrating soccer clubs to find more rallyists. Playing four to five games per week now.
