I heard a codriver, got in trouble for smelling like a distillery at the novice seminar, flunked the breathalyzer 3 times and was not allowed to start the event. Doesn't make him or her a bad guy to me. And why does a codriver need to be sober? They have a designated driver.

In my day, the novice seminars were always held in a bar, the night prior to an event. The students bought the drinks and the instructor told old war stories and attempted to pick up the students wives or girlfriends.

What the hell happened. Beer and rally are kissing cousins in the southeast. Can someone lay this out step by step since their is no official discussion. I don't care who it was I just want to understand why there was a breathalizer at the newbie meeting.

I'm not an alchoholic...but I play one on TV...and I gotta say, rallies with no beer suck.

Canada gets it...for now. Better git yer cars done and head north before they get screwed with.

I can't imagine a beer free Canada. Even our local road racing track allows for a few beers to be enjoyed in the pits, AFTER the racing is done.

The post-race BS session is usually fueled by beer! H*ll, I sure don't do it for the chicks or the prize money. Enjoying a few cold ones with friends is a big part of it for me.

Plus one what Grant said.

Rehabs fer Quitterz!!!!!!!!!!!

hahaha, i have to agree on that one. If the driver was drunk for sure no way. But they have a highly skilled designated driver....although they are relying quite a bit on the accuracy of the co-driver. But if she was Irish then it should have improved her concentration. I know it does for me cause im mostly Irish

Who will fall prey to the Zero tolerance enforcement at Alcohol Free STPR this year?

Most of the Canadians and Irish are steering clear of it.
