Damn. I was gonna send you a birthday present but then I forgot.

It was gonna be an empty PBR Tallboy can with a hose shoved in it with "JVAB Soooper Bitchin' Kidney" written on it with a Sharpie. And I was going to type up the infomercial that would go with it and print it off and put it in the box. drinking smiley

But...yeah. Happy birthday, you crazy old bastid.

That's great. I used to give out a standard 30th birfdee present to my friends when they'd hit the BEEEEEEG Three Oh;It was everything you'll need for the rest of your life:
1 bottle of Grecian Formula--for greying beards
1 Family sized tube of Preparation H
and
2 condoms..

I head that was what most guys need.. Me? my 30s and 40s were like prime teen-aged years x 50....I was tooooooo serious between 15 and 30, so I had learned the error of my ways and the Meaning of Lif and Secret of Happiness:
alternately:
Sex and drugs and rock and roll,
or drugs , sex, and cheap thrills..
Then I turned 50....and its all ""AUM" and Zen and Dao.
And keeping the girls giggling!

Why would you need condoms when you're 30? Like married guys get any scunt anyways. grinning smiley
But I won't be 30 for another 9 years. Making me feel old. drinking smileydrinking smileydrinking smiley

I did nothing my teenage years until I hit 18. LITERALLY two weeks after I turned 18 I was living in a cardboard box doing drugs all day. Now I quit drugs. You know if I really quit? Look at that sweater. That's when you know if a person is sober or not. They gots fancy sweaterzzzz.
Now I'm trying to be all "responsible" and pay bills and mack bitches. It's a hit or miss with that one. They either think I'm gay or they surrender their telephone digits.

It took me a couple days of getting updates on this thread before I figured it out. Doh.

HBD, JVL. I think it's time to re-do this commercial, but with a wild-eyed Scandinavian flying past the hillbilly in one o' them 2-cylinder Saabs.

Come! Come see the violence inherent in the system! tongue sticking out smiley (Sorry.)

My Misterbitchy has been rolled out into the sun so I can clean the garage not once but twice in the last year. I've given up on building a rally car before I build a race car, so this will finally be the year it goes back together, mate. (That is, I'm going to race it before I get a log book issued for rally. A piece at a time!)

Had a fresh engine all ready to drop in, then the engine in my daily driver GVR4 shit the bed, forcing me to use what I had laying around to get the second GVR4 running so I could deliver it to its new owner. I've since replaced the second GVR4 with a nice 89 Pajero, which has been hit by a kid in a Honda, nuked a starter, and now sits in my driveway without a head on it, as the $5 spring in the $50 oil pump broke, resulting in oil everywhere.

But leave us gloss over my mechanical, misterbichy misfortunes, for this is a thread of celebration. Celebration of your many years faithful service to the rally community (and the Volvo community, and the Xratty community, and the Saab community, and no doubt countless other communities)!

Sláinte
