I wonder if they had to use Draino to clear the shit out of your veins before putting the stents. A Shit-For-Brains like you must have shit circulating in the veins too.

Mental note, order Holy Water, Garlic, Silver Bullets, 7 Wooden Crosses, An Old Priest and a Young Priest.

I am a cold hearted asshole so my heart is only compatible with Innuits and Polar Bears, well maybe some Canadians too.

Well, I've since calmed back down, but I have put out feeler into my other usual haunts online to see what the average Joe CarGuy thinks about rally and rally-x. My goal is to gather information from people who seem, to me anyway, left to their own devices in terms of discovering the North American rally community. I'll be following my survey threads closely through tomorrow and compiling the results to share here and on SS.com when I get back from Prescott. I think it will be interesting. So far, I'm seeing a lot of interest that is being stifled first by lack of awareness of the community and second by fear of high cost of maintenance to the cars.

This will be interesting, imo.

No shit? Really? I hadn't noticed.

Ya know this conversation reminds me of a scene in the movie "Patton" where Patton and some Soviet general are arguing through a translator about not wanting to have a celebratory shot of vodka with each other after defeating Berlin because they hate each other. They finally share shots when Patton agrees by saying something like, "I'll drink to that. One son-of-a-bitch to another!"

This will make you bitchers about high entries happy...
I was going thru my posters and found one with Paula Bevis(Gibault) flying
her 510 telling of a CRS rally with any entry fee of $45.00// Thats why I started rallying...
JEN
I had the VA put in 2 stints awhile ago. The only discomfort was the temp.
in the op. room. They said it keeps infection down, but boy, was it cold...

Here is one answer to the high cost of rally.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jet-Fighter-faster-than-MIG-Albatros-L39-Mach-1-3_W0QQitemZ130032508089QQihZ003QQcategoryZ63677QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Yep that is fast, much faster than a MrBitchy for less than a GpN car.

In the long run reality always wins.

Why bother?

Makes it hard to get excited about the "organized" or "sanctioned" events when the last three in the US were:
Canceled
Canceled
SnoDrift had the only meaningful stage red-flagged for safety. no quotes at this time

That makes SnoDrift a glorified rally-cross with a huge entry fee.

I fail to see how such happenings as coming down to 35mph from 85 sideways for a R3 in a 90 hp 2wd car on an icy road qualifies as a "rally cross." Sno Drift was a blast this year, even though we "only" ran 100 out of the planned 125 stage miles... We also ran the long stage in two seperate stages in the other direction earlier in the day.

The point is we're losing a lot of miles and whole events.
If you had towed to one of the canceled events, wouldn't you think twice about going again?
After losing the 45Km loop at Perce Niege last year, I decided to give up on snow events - it can all be canceled for too much or too little snow.
