For arguments sake at no extra cost to competitors. Figure footage would be available after the event in 720p@60fps with no audio.

Is buying a ~$20 DVD after the event with some natural sound, and some commentary or some stage times plastered in an option?

An event recap dvd could be a possibility if it would help entry numbers.

Raw footage would be available for cost of storage media regardless.

Not that I have a horse in this game but do you mean 'RC helicopter' chase cam footage or full scale helicopter.

I'd answer "no", but I disagree with the second part of the option "I do not care for those things." Sure, I'd like it, but it wouldn't make me pick an event over all the other factors such as tow distance, entry fee, quality of the event, terrain, people, etcetera.

did one of the test drones they fly out of moffet fall into your backyard or something?

Maybe that's what we need. I'll start trying to hack the homeland security drones for their video feeds. Should be able to provide this free to most rallies smiling smiley

It would be cool, but I know we'd only ever see video of the first three cars, so with that, it'd make zero difference to me about entering the event based on it.

Eric, I have been exploring those. Remote flying seems like a cool option. FAA regs say you can't fly them out of site of the operator, though.

Well, you can, sorta. I can't remember the precise wording, but it's phrased such that if you have a video feed you can fly it by that.
