Rally REQUIRES two people...team sport. Side cars FTMFW!!!!!!!

Exactly, you can't do road head without another person in the car. Maybe I need to re-think the no navi idea?

Grant - Just one letter away from being fag.

That explains the BMW...

Real rally is blind so moto is more real than "performance rally."

Rally quad is pretty cool too.

Good topic for this forum.....I've been told that Rallymoto people are not really rallying, we just follow each other to the stage starts and they don't score us on transits. I actually had a navie say that to me. Do we rally twice as hard or half as much? Would your typical rally driver or navie have the balls to do it?

Anyone?

Okay so I read through this thread and can't really figure out what those replying were yapping about. Guess I've been out of rally a while. I was a driver.

1. Rallymoto is friggin' cool!

2. Screw anyone who says it isn't rally. Figures it was a co-driver/navigator telling you Rallymoto isn't rallying.

3. Rallymoto guys/gals have real balls compared with the sissies in their silly suits surrounded by roll cages.

Care to out the douche bag that told you Rallymoto isn't rally?

Rally moto guys are awesome. we had some at Idaho, gorman, and NNR one or two years..

they are still doing a point A to point B competition like the rest of us , with some things made easier , transit in a pack , "tow rig" , costs , less need for sweep

and some things made harder
more need to read the road, greater physical risk , elements will suck more (rain, snow, etc)

have a huge off in your rally car, and you will likely need a tow truck / extraction team. a tow rig, a trailer with a winch

have a big off on your bike , and you're gonna need someone else to drive you home ..

Rally Moto is great! I just wish that there was a little more interaction between the two groups. I have tried to talk with the riders while we are all waiting at stage starts. Haven't had much luck yet.
