I know they're on the expensive side, but I think they'd be on a par with the costs of custom gears for the T50 when all said and done. And, if there's no forced induction going into the Toiletta Commode, the 4AGE engine isn't going to put out enough to hurt it. I only brought it up to compare costs to a one-off custom gearset made for the T50, anyway.
I looked for a bit and didn't really find much technical info on the innards, especially the shaft-to-shaft measurements. There's also the AY6, which was in the Holden Commodore, Cadillac CTS-V, and some others, supposedly with a rating of 345 ft-lbs. Probably not really such a nice fit into the tunnel of a Corolla, either. Here's a link of a Locost in the UK, who was using a T9 on the 4AGE, and went supercharged after awhile.. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/anthony.pralet/LocoRAGE/index.html ![]() Doesn't look like any wierd atapterie things were used, maybe just some holes re-drilled. The site is a little low on details regarding the mating of the two, though. How common are T9's, and how big are they compared to the T50? Just in some brief searches, all I saw was reference to Sierras or xratties. Which are unfortunately basically nonexistant in this part of the woods. I think I've seen an Xrattie in person only 5 times in my life, and three of them were the same one, different years, at LSPR... --sarge ---** To be in compliance with the Anarchy **--- Jorden R. THAT'S A @#**^&#!!! Type 9 in the photo deine arschschlauch. They make whole bellhousings for 4AGE to Type 9 albeit for 300+ Squids, I showed Timm months ago and lent him a gearbox to mock up. plenty room. And whole boxes with straight cut gears, dog or synchro engagement, cost max around $2000.00, gear sets as low as 700. There's even an exchange deal to mod the input and cluster gear ratio to make 3.35 1st gears into 2.85 firsts, taller seconds etc. CHEEP!
