They do racks. I got one for John Lane 10 years ago, cost around 900 bucks when all was done and that was off course no mark-up as per usual with specialty rally stuff.
2.5 turns PS.

I'm working on a 2.0 to 2.2 turns version together with a comrade named "Fidel" out East.

The play is common, however, I never noticed it at speed in the rabbit, and it never got worse. The tiny amount of play is negligible, I drove a 52 Buick once...now that had some play in the wheel.....nothing like half a turn before you catch.

Hey John.
Does that include the Golve-version mentioned previously in this thread (over a year ago :-)).

I'm getting sick of the arm twisting P(O)S rack in my MK II.

However, having owned a Beeemer E34 M5 with a somewhat worn steering box, and having driven it on track, I'm not really too keen on introducing any play as per the quickeners.
