I think you'll find that many people go WAY WAY overboard on pump flow and and 3/8" will supply you up to way more than a 34mm restrictor motor needs. That said get hold of "Rallymech", he's a serious, thorough guy can do the job for sure. He's just a couple of miles from me in SW Sleezattle just the other side of Rat City. Where you? Well we are trying to be setup to run E85 so we wanted to have the fuel system to make that happen, we are located own in Renton, by IKEA! Im still debating the 3/8 supply idea, since we cant seem to get 1/2 in longer sections then 8ft that will make for 3 more bulk head fittings then planed.

Hell I go by there every week shopping at Great Wall E85 eh? OK but where do you get E85 here? And you might be right on size. Don't worry about a few connectors, it's often way easier routing, fitting and above all mods and repairs doing sections. You have a standard tank in the car? Or a fuel cell? What pressure regulator? What pump(s)? > > 600hp motor GT35 little big for rally but just > perfect for what we need. E85 about 30psi should > get us there. > > > > Edited 1 times. Last edit at Apr 20, 2009 by > token-negro. E85 can be had up towards snoqualmie at the big truck stop up there. Gateway Gas / Deli. So not to far from me. For pumps, ill be using a modified walbro as a lift pump, then into a custom surge tank that ill submurge a bosch 044 pump into then output that to fuel rail. I have an electronics guy working on a adapter to control the 044 with the OEM fuel pump controller. Base fuel pressure will be around 75psi running to some bosch 1000cc injectors that scale really nice as you add pressure they will run well over 120psi about 1400cc. Hey if your in the area welcome to stop buy and look at the junk

Just your typical tube ends, 8an and 6an and some bulk head fittings I want to run the SS tube into the tank bulk head so i can attach fittings to the top, and keep all the lines inside. Sounds easy to me, prob have to braze or tig it together to make that part work but i know it can be done. You intrested Robert in a side job?

Kendrick,
Your not alone on this forum, but I know the feeling. I'm not a big poster but it's a cool place to watch and listen. It sounds like that's a beast your building there! Maybe you could start a nice intro thread and tell us a bit more about yourself, what you do for work and what kind of projects your working on? I know I'm interested just based on the screen name and window sticker. Name: Dawud Jackson (DJ) Age: 30 Location: Seattle, WA Occupation: Computer dude. |

> > > > LOL John, sorry if i was a little late to the > party, i could change my screen name No no, that's allright, we love it. I grew up in a very mixed household with auties and uncles jabbering away 100 mph in Spanish and Italian and Pork-n-cheese and Deep South outside the home, we were for sure Heinz 57 Varieties as Auntie Lily, from Trenchtown, Jamaica used to say in that thick accent we associate with rasta-boys.. It's funny, DJ was over here and we were sawing on some shit and I asked him "Hey, what the hell are you anyway??" And he's answers kind "Weeeeelll, I'm black" And I said something "Oh! Really? How am I 'spossed to know that? I got Aunties and cousins way darker than you! I thought you were maybe Puerto Rican or Hispanic.." He sorta said "WHAT!!!!???" "Yeah! Why not? Do I look Hispanic?" DJ said I din't. So I smacked him (fiery Latin temperment, dontcha know) "See? So what's a "Latino" supposed to look like, and what does it supposed to mean?" He did say "I didn't think you knew and its clear ya don't care" I adopted him later so he's my errant step son now with a SHINY Xratty now. DJ, you have been shining that thing up some more haven't you? > > > > Edited 1 times. Last edit at Apr 23, 2009 by > token-negro.
