Find a Jeep OEM books from the 60's is ware the "only" complete and full info in writing is living ... All other books are off.. Heres one .. Before marking past .. We took red cement die and 90w .. We had a jar red die for years .. Just a table spoon of 90w.. add die to mix to paste goo.. small paint brush ..paint on paste goo.. did three diff's a week for ten years that way and had been done that way senses the 40's in real gear shops...Everyones shocked when they find this out..LOL.. Hmm, works fine for me. Or even white lithium in a pinch. > > There making the stuff out now ...Find a beat to > snot Jeep ...Ask were the gear guys hiding..You > may need shims they will have them .. Kinda like a cell phone with bad reception and you're only getting bits and pieces of what the person is saying. But yeah, the red cement dye stuff works really well, too. > Find help.. Um, yeah... |

David,
Well captain gear box.........I work at a Caterpillar dealer and set up quite a few gear sets that cost more than most cars. I use what Cat recommends, prussian blue. Pulling rank.......hummmm.......I'm 39 with 15 years Cat experience and am a certified field service anylist. I also have a degree in diesel and heavy equipment technology and have been an instructor at the local tech school. I feel well qualified to recommend prussian blue as an efective gear marking compound. Robert. Robert. "You are way too normal to be on Rally Anarchy." Eddie Fiorelli. |
