I'd really hate to pay $150/PAIR (so, +$300 for both seats) for some simple side mounting seat brackets when I know there's probably SOMEone one on here that could do it for less. (?)

Hell, if I could bend and/or weld aluminum, I'd be all over it.

but I'd prefer AL since then I wouldn't have to worry about painting/rust, etc.

Sparco/Momo stuff are intechangeable.
I think Racetech is the only one that doesn't use the same distance between bolt holes...

Yeah, your pin stands look good to me.
What are you doing to get the sharp angle on the tubing? Hmm. Maybe that's what I'll do this weekend. Find someone with a band saw and work on making some. I've got all the steel for them and have a pair that I stole from a friend.

yes, I used a pretty standard metal bandsaw...we had to make a small custom jig to hold the piece at the extreme angle (72 degrees from perpendicular), but once we got that set up, it wasn't too hard, just time consuming.

Hey Jon, I still have a few sets of my 6061 seat brackets. I designed these in SolidWorks. The brackets are designed to allow for super low mounting. Sorry for the bad photos.
