FIA scruitinized 2 box fuel cell without barrier???!!!

I have proof that a 2 box car ran in an FIA event in Finland this weekend without a sealed barrier between the fuel cell and occupants of the car. The proof will be back in two weeks time...

The occupants did not die and I observed them competing in the event without burning.

There must be a mistake that it passed FIA scruitineering right?

That car did explode, the occupants were burned to a crisp and a flaming hunk of the cell hit you and killed you too.

The whole idea is non-reality, the bizarre interpertation of the same wording from way back in maybe last century is non-reality---nobody could seriously interpert the rules the way they have been out of any concern for safety---and not require on-board fire supression which unlike the fuel cell wording, unchanged from distant time--has changed in the early 90s to ALL CARS needing fire supression, nothing about this is real..

While English isn't exactly my native language, I still don't get the point you are trying to make John.
I got it from the beginning that you were only making it up that somebody died - and that was the joke part, because obviously nobody will die just from what was described. I get it...

But wouldn't you still call it "making a joke about somebody dying"?

I'm sure Tim got it as well - eventhough you clearly don't think so - but from where I sit I don't see what other wording Tim should have used.

What I'm trying to say is: I got it - and if I hadn't found it funny - the way that Tim didn't - I would have used the same sentence.
Please explain how to say it any other way?
