What to do with this slightly rusty Starlet that so badly wants to be a rally car? Well, why not do this!

Obviously they have made a different set of decisons on how they want to structure the society they live in. They've voted in parties that represent their class interests, not the Business and financial elite. THEIR Rightwingers would be well to the left of and Democrat here. They have better education, social clubs, and are not idiots. By and large. But we in general have bigger cars, bigger houses, and bigger bellies. And pay way less taxes. And we're all individuals!!!! I came from Europe and I am not going back. I find Europe stifling, crowded with too many controls placed over one' s lifestyle. Trying to get anything done within a certain time period is an exercise in frustration. And it is so expensive over there.
I still spend 2 months every year working in Europe and my whole family lives over there. They like it, they are happy and successful. The major difference is that Europe has more culture and people spend more(or all) of their time socializing. But if you are someone who strives to try different things, get involved in adventures, pursue crazy hobbies and challenges, there is nothing like the US. All IMHO. George Civic Rally Car |

e > > George, where is home? John, Grew up in Athens, Greece. When I work in Europe, it is usually Spain. This last year I also worked in France, Croatia and Sweden. I felt most comfortable in Sweden and Croatia. Sweden story: the gentleman who picked me at the Stockholm airport(winter time) was driving a station wagon A4 quattro. It had three 8-inch Hellas mounted on the bumper. With snow on the ground, the first thing he did after starting the car was to switch off the stability control. My kind of driver- and of course he rallied a Volvo back in the 70s. George Civic Rally Car |
