I used GOLF rust repair parts, wheel opening pieces. I got them from J.C.Whittney (Yes! They were cheap but horrible shipping & handling service), Michigan parts supplier and once from Canada. Don't remember co names. Try Google "wheel arch repair" or something.
You can add, if you want, OEM Golf GTI plastic extensions, too.
I've also used INNER fender from American cars (don't remember which). Many inner fenders are smooth and nice shaped. I got them $ 5/ea but I had to go and cut them off myself in junkyard.
Some Japanese kids are selling universal fibre class flares for Starlet, Corolla and Celica. They fit to others, too. The shape is close to 1975 Corolla SR5 OEM steel flares.
PS. I've seen/heard TTS in racing and it's like a frigin' helicopter!

Go to:

And look at this flow forming method pay attention to the wing tip.
Read the comments from others. You need a mold of the original and some tools. He shows aluminum but I think it can be done in steel.

It's hard to beat the full tilt song of an air cooled NSU, that's for sure!

I'm at the moment very 6s and 7s on building up an NSU motor or doing some bike contraption... at the moment the bike situation isn't looking ultra cheap, or easy.. but neither is the NSU.

Some vids!
