2001 Hyundai Accent with '03 Elantra

we are putting in new bearings tomorrow night. who thinks it's a valve or bearings or wrist pin?

interesting, cylinder 4 has clean bearings. that was as far as we got tonight. yet the exhaust valve port has oily mixture on it, all other exhaust valve ports are normal.

Is this the Elantra motor?

nope. that is the accent 1.6L. we picked that car and we just put bearings in the motor tonight. my dad stole the accent from me- he said it was just too nice to do a motor swap into. soooooo, i'm back to searching for an accent to put my 2.0L stuff into.
