Grant, get that thing in the rotisserie cause you want the Juice to run down hill to get some co=lateral use out of the dribbles. The stuff will cook off and disappear on its own in a few days. Plan in advance, be ready, have the cars tipped up, work everything you can get to when its tipped over left, the tip and right and do that side. You got a chipping hammer? ![]() Get one. Actually, you can pretty much get a college education on youtube these days. We were watching a bunch of diff eq lectures from MIT not too long ago.
And yes Timm. The liquid nitrogen and shell prep will be the first in the new video series we're going to do. Provided I don't drink too much and forget to bring one of the four video cameras from my house to the shop. Grant Hughes |

Okay, death ray is here. Thanks John for letting it jet around the world, and thanks Jason for getting it here so quickly. Really am hoping to get both shells done this weekend. Both are stripped and on jack stands currently.
Airgas guys haven't called back. About to call them to get the shit delivered. Rottisserie is over at another shop and they've been a little flaky about us getting it from them. Backup plan is the queen sized pillow top that's currently sitting in my bedroom. Side benefit of that is having somewhere to take a nap down at the shop in the future. ![]() From Airgas, do I need to request a hose. What about an on/off thing to start/stop flow of stuff. Can this be done solo, or best to do with friends? Welding gloves sufficient? Grant Hughes |

No one builds a death ray like Tim.
You have to ask for a hose, they are short, like three feet, It would be really nice to get 2 or three and daisy-chain them if possible. The valve on the tank works great. It would be great to have extra hands with chisels and slag hammers while its cold. Just chill areas about a foot sq. at a time. A sharp wood chisel works well. BIG-ASS welding gloves. I said it before, frost bite HURTS! |

GET THE ROTISSERIE, you don't want to be fawkin ariund, you want to move quickly before the shit cooks off. Also get a BIG fan to blow the area so you can see, you don't want to be running the gas while twiddling thumbs waiting for the clouds of steam to dissipate. also, you can usually just e-mail the text to the phone number.
1234567890@email.uscc.net is the format for US Cellular, the carrier we use here in the midwest. other carriers use similar things, I'm sure. My work building is like a Faraday cage too, two steps inside, and no reception. As far as the video sequences of the LNDR, I think it would be neat to see. Especially of something, say, a small dog that accidentally ran in the way of the Death Ray, and someone accidentally dropped the chipping hammer on it.... or not. --sarge ---** To be in compliance with the Anarchy **--- Jorden R.
