Thanks for the info on the heater.

I'm going to try to get a chopped version of the OEM heater to work, but if not I think I'll end up with the mojave heater.

Okay, so Kris Dahl has what I want!

But, it's not what I need. What I need is a finished car!

So here's what I ended up with. I'm confident I can mount a solid footrest to this:

On stage? Hardly ever. My left foot is either activating the clutch or hovering over the brake. On transits the dead pedal gets a lot of use. I still have cruise control so can relax between stages.

It's funny, if I hover over the brake pedal for any length of time while NOT on stage I get muscle ache very quickly. But I can go all day at rally and not get tired - perhaps it's that magic elixir we all crave: adrenalin.
