Not much to see other than a dismembered Xratti, and a bunch of ramdom cars parts.

this is the book:

http://www.amazon.com/Build-Your-Own-Sports-Car/dp/1844253910/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1268833692&sr=8-1

There is a US forum, that I'm working my way towards persona non grata on, I have to learn to pretend the "off-topic" threads don't exist smiling smiley

http://www.locostusa.com/forums/

A huge UK Locost forum:

http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk

A lot of the US guys are building Miata based cars and there are a ton of folks who like to reinvent the wheel.

I'll probably post my build log here -- it's not a rally car but the anarchy seems to have a better knowledge to dickhead ratio than some of the other lists I frequent...

You know those stub shafts will bolt to a E36 diff, you just have to heli-coil the flanges from 10mm down to 8mm, or drill the joints. Then you have LSD, and many gear set choices, like 3.91, 4.10, 4.25, 4.56 ect....

Or with the JVAB adapters, the Supra diff. There's no need to use the poor ratio'd non-LSD Euro Ford 7.5 in a custom build.

Yep, John's been after me to go Supra already. I haven't really looked for a Supra diff yet but will probably try to track one down to mockup the frame changes before long. I've got a 3.38 and a 3.62 at the moment, going to a 4.3 and swapping to the tighter 5th would be a good move, but with the 3.62, 23" tires and standard gearing in the tranny it's a decently usable 4 speed with a tall overdrive for the boring ride to the track.

Anyone in the midwest have an LSD Supra diff they'd part with?
