So that's where his page went off to...

One of the local-ish RX-7 guys is amalgamating a Triumph GT6. New frame, one of his 300hp 12A engines, front suspension based off of RX-7 bits, and the rear suspension from a Subaru.

I'm placing bets on when the R160 diff breaks.

Matt, where'd you typically find those alternate R200 ratios??
There's a couple of people talking about doing sNisssan over on the other place and if you were to go there and tell 'em about what a fine group of pro-rwd loons there are here, we could ALL learn more..

And weren't you 'spossed to be talking with me about real boingers for your car? You still intending to prep that?

The 3.9 is typically found in Infiniti J30s, the whole unit swaps in and comes with a usually unused VLSD. I use these in my street cars.

The 4.3 can be found in the front siff of some early V6 pathfinders and Hardbody, and some '99 Frontiers, my info is kinda sketchy on which models exactly.... Or you can pay the drift tax and find them on some imported diffs from CA18DET S13s or RB20 Skylines.

The 4.6 is in the front diff of 2001+ Frontiers and Xterras. It seems like the safe bet for a junkyard pick.

Of course, if you aren't fond of money, you can get all of these and more by bending over the counter at Nissan/Nismo. I think they go down to 5.8!

My rally project is on hold for a little bit. Between my wedding, then my wife's battle with cancer, the rally fund dried up pretty quick. I should be ready to start again by this winter. I did finally pick up a rust free shell for cheap!

Some interesting suspension mods on the ~'90 DTM M3 from back in the day... Might give you some ideas for doing custom trailing arms for other cars... Or not. Neat stuff though and likely worthy of discussion.
