Google AFCO and look at pages 52-58 in the 2011 catalog, Read it all, make some mounts with alternate holes, give it a try. Problem is that area of the car is pretty weak, so you have to do some heavy duty reinforcement. Millen wasn't working with 30 year old cars. Even rust free models have problems with that area of the car cracking off (thank you, asymmetrical/freakin' short upper links) so the 3 link eliminates that whole area of the car from trying to be structural. The 4 link makes a ton of sense for converting a leaf spring car over, 'cause you have to make everything anyway so you kill two birds with one stone by installing ONE link box per side and stuff both links in there. And if you were gonna do that to an RX-7, then this would be the time to hack up the floor and use links longer than the stock 19" units. If the car was NEW, then yeah, okay, cut some slots in the wheelwells and stick a pair of lower links up in there - the upper mounts are already offset so a straight link would miss the bodyrail anyway, so it would be perfect - but you ain't going to find a car *in 2011* where that area of the car is trustworthy anymore aside from keeping the outside out and the inside in. |

Well, in a word, duh. You gonna have to run some support to the sheetmetal boxes abut dang mang, any reinforcement to a 1st Gen RX7 is good, do long links and strengthening sounds like win/win..
