OH well that's why we should "quote' the reply youse are talking abouts...

That's pretty good, got some details ya wanna share?
Like part numbers etc just to be sure?

they are the:

KLARIUS/QUINTON HAZELL Part # EMS1554
Category: Control Arm Bushing

from rockauto

and it works out to be $11 each shipped if I get 8

or

$9 each if I buy 16

I don't know anyone in the UK to mail them to but going postal would save quite a bit

What diameter tubing do these fit into John?

Sean has half a dozen brothers there and is sending me a postal adress, hang tight so this works, I can measure the OD and letcha knows so we don't go Oh Noez!

Here is what I am going to use Blake and John.

Raybestos PN 576-3358
1994 Ford F250 front leaf spring bushing.

The outer shell is 2.004" which should press into standard 2" ID tube, available in both steel, 4130, and Aluminum
3.125" overall length. They could easily be cut down to whatever length you wanted, I think I will use them at the stock width.
14mm bolt hole, a little big, but bigger is better than too small.

$11 each, in stock at Carquest

Looks awr-fully good, Sean. If we pressed in some 1mm wall sleeves we could save buying bolts--and use 2.3 head bolts, we'ze gotz plenty to go around.

I have stacks of bolts that will work, we change some MB control arm bolts out for an adjustable bolt, and they are perfect. But you are right, a simple sleeve and 12mm bolts would be better

Whats the ID on those nice Aluminum slugs you have in that tub John?

Online metals lists 2" in alloy, dom, and 4130, $20 for enough to do 4 bush holders.
