They're basiclly all the same from the mid 80s to the late 90s...just has to be a 4x4...

Sometimes you'll find some DeCarbons, which are gucci too!

I just can't decide if I like the peepee yellow or the baby shit green more. Both are beautifully ugly colors! Love it!

Yep the baby excrement colors were HAWT...I love my Carlsbad Yellow!

I was questioning your choice of powerplants...till I saw the XRATTY on the trailer....now it all makes sense.

Your logic is like mine...keep a consistant fleet of powerplants. I want a turbo redblock for my next miata and a carbureted one for the truck.

Head work riddle solved!

Got in touch with a good machine shop, here in town...they do a lotta work on Volvo stuff.

Gave em the head...they're going to execute a valve job, with fresh guide seals....and when they asked if I wanted resurfacing, I told em "just kiss to clean, please."

Just a few day turn around...and the motor will be back together shortly....

Still, just need a flywheel, clutch and pressure plate....oh, and a throw-out bearing.

Really, I thought this was Internet Diarrhea. Who wants to see some old POS Volvo being made into anything but a rally car with a mismatched 850 air dam and with a bunch of "dudes" and "yos" and misspellings? That is why they have TurboBricks and why I don't visit that site.

IPD was and is a bunch of overhyped shit.

Now, do a build thread on a 122s rally car, and I'll watch it.

Dooood you're harshin our mellow, mang!
The boy has gone for an exciting ride---at my arrangement---with Alpert Kunkanenen in the orange 240 and immediately came and signed up here.
Baby steps, mang..

And year the limp-wristed metro-sexual hipsters aka Eye Pee Dee sell foofy crap to foofy girly-men and talk to them in person---the saving grace for some of us---and it's WORSE, even when it's clear you know they're talking hype, I know they're talking hype, we all know they're talking hype...
Lame stuff indeed.

But what does that have anything to do with Myles transmogrification into a rally perv and what's so wrong with a 240 that is supposedly so much better in a 122? Sumpin wrong with 3 turns lock to lock less steering? Or a stronger front end? Or easy power?
