No, just flip on "Pump 2 " on the dash.
In fact max since you axed:
One of these pumps is enough to run the car. On stage you can run BOTH so you never even know if one puked.
Then on transits run pump one , next transit pump 2, that way you know they're both working..
That's how my old Saab was set up many many moons ago (Thanks Steve Roberts whereever you are now)

Im supposing in the pic you have rubber washers/grommets sandwiching the metal plate?

Yeah those cute little thangs I harvest off all kinds of Misterbitchy cars where you get 4 per wiper motor.
Cool shoulderd warsh-ers so you crank 'er down till the bottom and not overly smooosh-a-late 'em,.
