It wont be too big if the car has a set of front calipers on the rear. The caliper piston area is quite high and the 3/4 is exactly whats needed.

Caliper pistons are, IIRC, 1 3/8" all around. That's the size that as the single-pot rear calipers used in those cars.

Or maybe they're 38mmx4... either way, they're not "huge", but pretty big for a rear caliper.

It's been done (Derek Bottles got a kit where I used Superlites 4 x 1.75"/44,5mm front, and the RX7 4 x 36mm rear. Used a 5/8" master.
Worked truly soooooooooper bitchin)

Any idea what these brake rotors cross to? I understand they are Saab 900 or something. They look like rears with the taller center hat but I can't seem to find vented rears.

Them's plain jane 1986 AND 87 Saab 900 front vented..
