I won't make molds of stuff until I get a chance to see how good/bad the fitment is.

What you should do is put them on the car and then make a mold over the parts and make new parts that encompass the old parts and the new parts!
Does Wyotech have a composites program? Or Mines? Or anywhere around here?

I will be working with some sort of academic guy (UCD?) for the build of the Evo splitter. I'll be sure to ask around - good idea!

Going to do the same thing with the rear quarters as I'm doing with the Evo. Not sure I'll go through the trouble of making the front bumper and/or front quarter panels due to the difficulity of the complex shapes. A quarter panel with blister flares is easy by comparison.

Another place to look is an art school. Many of the serious ones have entire clases on how to make and use molds.
