Selholm

Does anyone have experience buying parts from Selholm recently? What are they like to work with? I have been buying from England and there have been no problems with the duties. I assume it would be similar with Sweden.

Why not get the American Selholm version from JAVB since its so close to you and just about the same thing.

As for the product itself, I've heard from the civic crowd in ireland them calling from Pogo sticks all the way to dog shite.

Janne Sellholm makes a lot more things than suspension...gear sets, diffs, gear boxes, top mounts.
All of it is first class stuff..
His struts allow a wjhole heap of guys, scores , drive their old shit box RWD things faster than anybody in North America.
They are fine..
The cost more than double what my stuff costs and considering the are virtually indentical that's a lot.
They're also made of steel--air frieght will add more...its over xx dollars and there will be customs broker charges--a couple of hundred, and duty--2.3% so it will be a LOT more..

Delivery is what leads 3-4 guys I've met local--within 50km radius--to say "If I can go in, get it in my hands, hold tight and then throw the money and run, then I will consider going there."

as for the pogostick/shite...whatever.

I said specifically what guys in Ireland that have run them on civics have said, and all had switched to Proflex. I was there and asked exactly because at the time I was debating on them vs DMS on my own car. No assumptions here, so take your own conclusions.

I've had personal--well on the phone--dealing directly with Sellholm, and have run accross 3-4 guys NEARBY whao all separately said delivery problems are so bad---although they all said the stuff is FIST CLASS---and fist class enough that for all the FWD Skodas back in the 90s Sellhom had the contract to build those gearsets and diffs---my freind Ola Stromberg did the consulting, Stig Blomqvist testing, and Sellhom the work), that they ONLY would go in person...

But, that was 15+ years ago...

I purchased my kit of suspension and brakes for the Volvo 240 in 2007.

They were easy to work with.... Speak good english. Product was mostly on the shelf and shipped as soon as (seems like) hats got done. Not a long wait. The shipper did customs.

Product that I've been delighted with.
