I was gonna stay away from hydraulic and grab one of these.

My only concern is if it will work with the pressure plate john supplied.

Now that the holidays are over, I finally found some time to work on the car again. I got the lower shock mounts relocated, so now there's some clearance between the coilover and the tire. I also found out the driver's turret is mounted farther outboard than the passenger side, so I offset the lower mount to keep the shocks parallel.

Going out of town for a week, so only keyboard building for a bit. I'm trying to figure out what to run for rear brakes. The front has stock gen 2 RX7 rotors and 4 pot calipers; in the rear, the axles have been machined to fit the same front rx7 rotors. I have a wilwood dual master pedal box with a 5.25 to 1 pedal ratio. I don't yet have any master cylinders (including the handbrake cylinder) or rear calipers.
Any suggestions on what would be a good rear caliper to match the front? And what master cylinder sizes to run?

Volvo 240 rears... and those RX7 fronts are not going to work well without a booster...

I did some work on the Supra LSD, adding a Weir spring kit and shimming the side gears. It is getting set up now in the pickup 3rd member with a solid pinion spacer and 4.56 gears.
If anyone needs a supra diff housing, axle stubs, and/or a 3.90 final drive, let me know, because otherwise it's getting scrapped.

I'll take it, I seem to have more than enough 4.3 sets...

Maybe set it side for when somebody is passing thru from there to here..

Fly-Half
Think about the annular type---how much fun bleeding and replacement/service and how much fun it would be pulling the gearbox to cure a little leak vs external slave..

Depends on what you're breaking. Good pressure plate can make some cars' forks and pivots break, or flex a lot. Reinforcing only does so much, a linkageless dealy is a great fix.

If, as you point out, it's laid out so that it's not a major pain in the ass to service.

Just finished redoing the backstay V, since the old bars didn't leave enough room to fit the fuel cell without hulk-smashing it into place. I landed the new bars on the back stays instead of the turret support bars which gained a lot more room, and while I was in there I welded up a bunch of unused holes in the floor.

John, do you want the whole housing and stubs, or just the ring & pinion?
