Yeah.. So reassuring too on some details. You know i like encouraging decent rear suspension travel and that means doing what it seems the whole reat of the world, even Red-neck good ol' Boys manage to to and that's weld in towers and link boxes... I've used straight tube and a few guys have done that too..

Ever looked in the truck of one of those?
Their towers are straight tubes 9with a simple cap)..

But Wilson, you see a big row of those.
That negates the uniquness of the idea.
Remember they guy doesn't want to do what anybody else has done, he wants to be unique..

SO MUCH WANT

Here, build your own: http://www.abarth-gmr.be/new/parts.php?dzial=FIAT%20124%20SPIDER%20ABARTH

I've got a buddy building a 131 replica to rally and he go the bodywork here. Personally, I'd like to build the X1/9 Prototipo, but I imagine it is pretty tight inside. For that matter, how about the 904 as seen at Monte Carlo?

This would be fun too:

I would rather drive a slow car fast as a fast car slow!

don't give up, pontiac fiero is actually within 6% of being exactly the same as a rs200, all you have to do is graft in some drivetrain from a astro van.

Pontiac Fiero: Rally's second best kept secret (behind the Colt Vista of course). How has the sport survived without their dominance?

Looks like a reasonably successful Fiero in Canada some time ago.
