OK, here is a little update.
Engine is back in car, same with rad and support.
Exhaust is built (pic shows partial completion)
Cage is complete, started painting it yesterday.

Painting advice: Don't use the VHT epoxy in white. It is supposed to be incredibly durable, however the epoxy is very very thin and does not cover very well... at least in white.

I followed directions to a T, with 2 light coats, and 1 medium wet coat letting each to dry at least 10 minutes, but as you know tubing is hard to paint already and all the joints lead to lots of drips.
Not sure if I will sand lightly and do another coat, but if I do it will be after 7 days of drying an curing completely (according to instructions).

Okay, so a few more progressions all thanks to the guys over at CustomMetalCraft service and fabrication in PortCoquitlam.

Sunroof is covered with aluminum, with a smart looking ebay roof vent for some air, cage received final paint, flor painted, tunnel painted, brakes bled and finalized, pads and rotors done in the rear and front, hood pins in, belts installed, seats plopped in place, spare tire mount perfected and painted, AND the car started up last week on Friday evening after a few fuel line leaks an replacements.

Hoping to get her logbooked this week or next.

Looks good.

You still need those 3" helper springs I have waiting to go?

Thanks! Car is complete for the most part, and it is back at home.
The guys at Custom Metalcraft did amazing work on the cage and the other elements I had them integrate into the design. They were also absolutely intrumental in other fabrication aspects that really make this car tough (hopefully) and ready for the stages.

Hopefully getting log-booked in the coming weeks, then its time to find a co-driver and get some time and a place to do a good shakedown.

Any co-drivers in the area (new or old) looking to partner up with a novice team, let me know.

Hoping to use TBird as a light shake down and then hoping to get the act together in time for Cochrane, but dammit, you know whats harder than building a car or paying for it? .... finding the time to race it.
