Today's progress

Last day working at the JVAB "Boreham North" was very productive... will be nice to not have to commute over and hour each way to work on the car. But seeing Anna's first steps and the boo-boo cats and the great convo's will be missed. At this rate, street legal by Doo-Wops is def possible. John picked up Alt and PS brackets from flame cut guy today too so those can be fabbed soon. Had a fresh off the lathe brake hat in my hand this very evening, nearly done. Thanks Scott for dropping off the new starter!

Jeez, do you guys have a deal with an anodizing place or somesuch? Seems everything coming out of there is plated in something.

edit. Public service announcement: Do not use high-consumption air tools in the Canadian winter. I just froze my right angle die grider solid with ice, and it's only -10'C right now...reason #2354 to move out west! Air tools work in rain, not so much in the cold.

I hate winter aswell, but doubt I will ever move out west. A 3-4 bay heated garage is definitely on the wish list though!

Yeah that pretty much sums it up, I'm working on my F4.ca ISP business attempt to try and maybe plug the giant sucking sound coming from my ATM card... I haven't worked at a "job" in about 17 months now, have to be somewhat frugal

I emailed my order to Monster for all the aeroquip stuff but apparently they have broken fingers, it's been a week now and no response, so on Monday I'll call them and do it the old school telephone way.

I know I should get up to John's and finish fabricating the alt and PS brackets, I need to finish hacking up the fuel rail, mount the remote filter, fabricate and mount a bracket for the coolant overflow... the list goes on

I got the huge ring-bound XR4Ti shop manual on ebay for $25 so that's good, now I have all the info I need for electrical, timing, and various stuff.

Need to figure out and fabricate a junkyard solution for the hydraulic clutch conversion.

I haven't really done much except work on the brackets at John's a couple of days, and I went to the junkyard out here in Puyallup and grabbed some rubber grommets, metal filler tanks, random useful junk.
