Dame pete, I am so glad you are here..A big thank you for taking the time to write..
Yeah link length: clearly the ideal is "as long as a way can be found to mount them" seems about right. anything shorter seems mainly to be a choice done for packaging reasons, not function or consistent handling. No dogma, just what can be fitted...

Good point on tires too.

Same as what John said, thanks a bunch for taking the time to write that... Noted on long links... I hate to do away the stock gas tank for the panhard rod. Fuel cells are so expensive... Ill play with it a bit, see how much room there isn't...

Ilm try n find some better pics of the MRT links... I wonder why they opted against escort style boxes... I believe there is room.

Oh man put the race seat in there last night... No one warned me how small these cars are! And RA requires 1.75. Gonna be snug on the lateral bars driver side, all else ok

Note shock and spring positions appear "Stock" too.

Really this was probably the best option because the back of the car is full of fuel cell and oil tank and spare tire. Minimal use of what little room there is back there.

But only last Saturday I walked a noob thru pulling a Supra IRS diff complete and the boy scored a 8" gearset (4.3) and a LSD for $50 +10 core
Now that particular one just happened to be going into his Xratty build, but several boys have done that for their solid axles..
Come on $60 for a BIG strong diff...

Hey who you calling noob (guilty as charged)? :-P Or do you mean some other noob? The 4.3 I pulled was $30 (they thought it was something else) although it wasn't an LSD.
