Brian: Roger has a VR4 in his driveway (sold/traded his DSM rally car). Haven't heard what the plans are for it...cash tends to work on him, though he can be rather "proud" of his toy$. ;-)

Brent.

I've only been there once (with Ray) and he had an Isuzu Impulse sitting there with a couple 1G DSMs. There's a second GVR4 sitting in Moose's driveway as well. Belongs to Keith Roper, but I don't know if another GVR4 is a good idea. I've begun to look for Volvos for a daily driver (although there's a pretty clean AMC Eagle SX/4 in Ridgecrest, CA that's right in my price range).

I will update once I've found something for a daily. Looks like the police report is finally done, so I should see some movement from the insurance companies this week (I hope).

The volvo is a good choice for a daily.. there's really nothing to them. And should something catastrophic happen, it won't take much time or beers to fix, leaving more beers left over for just sitting around smiling smiley

John is right about staying away from the 740. One of the reasons they were introduced was to lower the build costs. Perfectly excellent for a daily, not such a good choice for a daily hope to be rally car one day.

Since the original post, my focus has been to find a good daily and put the wood to the Galant on stage later this year. As such, the 740 doesn't look so bad (but I'll be keeping an eye out for a nice 240 if possible)>

Haha! You know I would, Moose, but last I looked, there's this other GVR4 at your place that I would want to get first. winking smiley I've since shifted gears and am on the prowl for that elusive Ovlov for a nice, smooth, quiet, daily. Had I some insurance money, I would have bought a nice 240 up near PV mall this weekend.
