Aye. And I notice the second brick on this site this week sporting the wheels I wish mine had. (sigh)

Must... resist... urge... to modify!

Thanks Grant. That tractor was the first engine I ever overhauled when I was about 8.

I didn't notice the box under the car.. thats a good eye though hahaha..

The wheels actually aren't even mine, I've got a few sets of virgos and 10 spoke sirus wheels I usually run.

Finished up the majority of assembling the motor today.. Tomorrow will be a suspender day, I'll try to get most of the rear suspension back in so I can move the car to the other side of the shop to stab the engine and trans.

I got some much needed help today from my multi-talented girlfriend Jessica. She assisted in helping me get the axles in, parking brakes assembled, and the initial suspension setup.

I dont know which one looks better.. her or the turbo..
..eh thats actually a no brainer. Cutiepie wins again!

Finally got the rest of the rear suspension in and finished.

Your turbo looks to be about the same size as your tranny. Almost.

She's a keeper. You guys should be wearing gloves though.

Al, you mean transMISSION, right?! An what is with bolting up an M47 (looks like it)? Unless you've got an M90 laying around, this seems like the perfect opportunity to throw in a T5.

Yeah, that's a cutiepie turbo.

I agree with the gloves comment. Always wear protection when you've got girls, grease, and cars in the same locale!

Back to drinking beer on a lazy Sunday in the heat.

BTW, are those Ben's lower trailing arms?

Timing gear carnage..

I'm right in the middle of a second gear burnout and the car just loses power.. putts a little then dies completely.. Do the AAA+ thing.. had the car towed a whopping 7 miles home. My first thought was my timing was off.. I was right.

The EMS is triggered by magnets in the back of my front damper/pulley.. Well Some jackass didn't put mine on with the gun (me) causing it to get loose and bust the key off the front of the timing gear that sits behind it.

Replaced gear, reassembled to specs, car checked out okay.

Braze? A turbine housing?
