First photo shows my old style intake manifold without the threaded rod end. Mine has a tab made in the casting that has a hole through it that looks like the place for a grommet like on the firewall.
Geez volvo... A cable just wouldn't do... The second picture shows the linkage components that came with the Carb/Intake setup. The tetris shaped piece with the slotted hole And the plastic ball and socket threaded rod assembly. The shaft (slightly bent) The third photo was my first guess but I now realize that the tetris shaped peice with the slotted hole might attach to the carb hence the slotted hole. Michael LeCompte |
