Just spoke with a lady over there. She said she will have them ready for me when I get there to pick them up this afternoon. David will have them in hand tomorrow.

Cheers!

Got 'em in hand. $54 and change. I was dumb and took plastic, so I had to pay tax. Doh!

They had them off for me and ready to go when I got there. Sitting on a trailer right next to a yellow Starion which was up on blocks with it's front suspension all disemboweled.

I will have these to David in the morning. Don't you just love it when a plan comes together? It's shit like this what makes being on forums great!

Whew, 12+ hours per day average for the last 6 days putting a system in a jail near Nashville......should be back in VA by sometime Sunday...only 8 days gone on this one!

Ok where are things? I can sorta follow things from the thread....OK who has what? Looks like Rich fronted some $$ and Brain picked up, is that right? Thanks both.....

For shipping: I need to get a set HERE in VA first, noy to JVL. We are short on time to RWV and this will be for car 0. The old right front GAB strut insert survived the last bent housing well enough to reuse for that; all I need is a decent RF strut body.

Can these be shipped here in VA? And the set in OR go to JVL for another set with new stuff? I need to work it this way to get car 0 going ASAP and then pay attention to other RWV prep.

BTW, Rich/Brian, did anyone verify that the ones in Brian's possession at late'87 or '88 or '89? ANy thing earlier won't work, no use to ship them anywhere.

Thanks,
Mark B.

Mark,

We can no longer contact the seller of the Oregon struts.

Too bad. I just talked to him last night and posted the link to his advertisement with the phone number on it. Heymagic even arranged for someone to pick them up. But now the advertisement has expired and I didn't write down the number. Arrgh!

Sorry, but glad the AZ stuts came through.

Not to threadjack, but seeing we're doing the Mitsubishi thing up in here and we've got suspenders for Mark, thought I would post up a quick pic from Saturday, a couple hours before Ray and I dropped those bad boys off to David...

And I just got a new job offer this morning, so I might be taking some time off in the coming week to attack the Galant. So stoked.

Hey Brain,

I owe you some $$ or beer for the help fetching these and the extra $$. Let me know what payment you want. And very good on the job; money is quite convenient to have around!

BTW, thanks to all for the support. I think we'll have 2 more pairs coming from upper NY so we can replenish the stock of these things. My son noted that I always break the right side (his side); makes sense 'cuz that's the side I can't see out of very well.

I'll work out something to get some new units from you John; the GAB's need to be preserved as spares. But RWV has to come first.

Many thanks,
Mark B.

The NV ones are coming here to VA. I'll get some of the NY ones to you when they arrive. We'll use the GAB's in the NV strut bodies for RWV to get by, and avoid any rush for you, John.
