Added some new paint. Also painted the new bumper cover yellow, but didn't have time to get it mounted.

Not sure I'm digging the red and yellow scheme. How about something a little more Ford Motorsportesque? Soon you'll see my newly painted KAWASAKI GREEN SUBARU! JVL will roll over in his grave. Oh wait he's still alive,....like Keith Richards.

Maybe I have watch too much TV this weekend but it looks like the car would be the one entered by China if the Olympics had a rally.

Sorry, Grant, you've got it wrong. The Starsky and Hutch stripe was white and wrapped over the roof. Not around the back.

It looks almost period correct for a mid-'80's sport car. Not bad.

How bout a big yellow star on the hood?

Or better yet, the old hammer and sickle?

Or the JVAB shock and sickle. If someone would make the graphic, I can do the vinyl.

Uh, you forget that I got a message from somebody who had done the graphics and they were all "Are you ready to litigate!!!?"
I can't recall where I got the thing from, we'd done a near identical thing way back in the mid 70s, so when whoever sent it to me sent it to me I didn't think anything about it since it's such an obvious graphics idea.

But after talking to the guys who were drift guys in the San Hose-off CA area, I deleted a bunch of photos over on Turbobricks after 'splaining stuff.

Immediately a bunch of guys had alternative ideas.

Hey Grant or anybody---you have a phone number for Mustafa?
I need a mad Turkish lawyer.

Got the bumper on yesterday. Used the bottom half of an Impreza bumper beam from Mark's car to give it some rigidity up top. Now it's time for some decals.
