Strut tower plating

How thick of steel would you guys recommend for strut tower reinforcement? Would 1/8" be good, or 3/16"? I think 3/16 is the thickest I could fit on my Focus.

Thanks,
Ben

I did 3 mm since that the required thickness for any cage parts. So if the strut tower plating is integrated into the cage...

Also it may depend on the thickness of the strut tower metal. If it is thin where you want to weld the plating, you will have a hard time welded 3/16's without bruning through. I would go with 1/8 for that reason alone.
