This guy has quite a few... He's selling off his stores inventory. I thought maybe someone on here might use a lot of these fittings and find this to be a good deal. I dunno...

Hmmm... I don't doubt it that real deal AN stuff is pricey! I used JIC stuff for my oil cooler and it still cost quite a bit!

DJ,
AN is just the earlier name for the same 37 degree sealing angle stuff that eventually became "JIC"

AN stands for "Army/Navy" and was a standard way back to the 40s.
JIC is "Joint International Congress" Or council which standardized the sizes etc.

Intra-webzerz all say its "slightly different" but it hain't.

You get the car fired up?

I read the only real difference was the threads were of a high quality on the AN stuff compared to JIC stuff. Also it seems that JIC fittings are mostly made in steel and the AN is made in fancy anodized aluminum.

No, I don't have this POS XR running yet because I fawked some sheet up! I had some wires hooked up wrong at the solenoid and my fuel pump was consistently running. I replaced my ECU and solved that problem. However I can't get the starter to engage now so I probbaly blew a fusable link or something. Do you have an EVTM I could borrow, I only have the shop manual but it's got some things I can start with. Maybe I should just take out some collector car insurance and push it into the Duwamish?
